Merry Christmas from Sleightly Smoking: A Year of Magic and Gratitude

As we close out 2024, we wanted to take a moment to connect with all of you—our incredible Sleightly Smoking community. This past year has been a whirlwind, and the holiday season has been no exception. For those of you who might not know, in addition to co-founding Sleightly Smoking, I spend much of my free time as a performing magician. December is the busiest season for magicians, and between gigs, events, and everything else life has thrown my way, things have been… well, a little chaotic.

It’s been a while since we’ve been able to share updates with you, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Running Sleightly Smoking is more than just a business; it’s a labor of love. Each design, every piece of apparel, and every interaction with you, our fans, is something we hold close to our hearts.

But let’s be honest—this year, life got busy. From traveling to perform at holiday parties to juggling personal commitments, we had to hit pause on some of our creative pursuits. And while we missed connecting with you as often as we’d like, we never stopped feeling the love and support you send our way.

As we sit by the tree this Christmas, reflecting on the year, one thing stands out above all else: gratitude. Gratitude for the fans who wear our designs with pride, for the community that shares our passion for magic and creativity, and for the inspiration you all give us to keep dreaming bigger.

Growing Together: 1,600 Trees for California 🌲

One of the highlights of 2024 has been our partnership with OneTreePlanted, which began in May. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to plant 1,600 trees in California this year! That’s a huge milestone, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

To put that into perspective: the average tree can produce about 16.67 reams of paper, and a ream of paper is enough to make 166 decks of cards. That means the 1,600 trees planted this year could one day produce enough material for over 266,000 decks of cards! Imagine the magic that could be made with all those decks. But of course, those trees are staying rooted where they belong, helping to restore California’s forests and give back to our planet.

This partnership has been a dream come true for us—not only are we creating magic through our brand, but we’re also making a lasting impact on the environment. Every design you’ve purchased has contributed to this effort, and we’re so proud to be building a community that cares as much about giving back as we do.

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to share that we have big plans for Sleightly Smoking in 2025. We’ll be returning with fresh designs, new ideas, and the same commitment to creating something truly special for all of you. The pause was necessary, but now, we’re more inspired than ever to make magic happen—both on stage and through our brand.

For now, we wish you and your loved ones a magical Christmas and a joyful New Year. Whether you’re cozying up with family or dazzling friends with your best sleights, we hope your holidays are filled with wonder, laughter, and love.
